For over 25 years, the NJ Young Playwrights Contest has been deepening the writing experience for young artists by providing detailed feedback from theatre professionals. The New Jersey Young Playwrights blog continues that mission to provide discussion, instruction and inspiration to interested young writers.

Preparations underway
Preparations for the Festival are well underway! Casting is nearly complete and as we head into May, we hope to have some initial conversations with our high school playwrights in advance of the first read through on May 21.
